Colours

Unlike conventional fired tiles that limit colour options due to high-temperature constraints, our BioSintering® technology enables a vibrant spectrum of colours that are not readily accessible through traditional ceramic tile production.

Coatings

Our bio-based coating system offers a subtle gloss finish that enhances the natural beauty of our tiles. Alternatively, we offer a range of synthetic coating options for a variety of finishes and enhanced durability for more demanding environments.

Strength

With a flexural strength of up to 25 MPa, our Eralith® tiles significantly exceed the minimum industry requirement of 12 MPa while maintaining excellent dimensional stability.

Sustainability

Based on an independent Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), our tiles have a 94% lower CO2 footprint and 99% lower air pollution (PM2.5) emissions compared to traditional ceramic tiles, with a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of just 0.81 kg CO2e per m2.

Our Eralith® tiles additionally have a recycled content of over 95%, offering an upcycing route to challenging waste streams.

Revolutionary technology

The BioSintering® process reduces energy consumption while opening new possibilities for design and customisation not possible with traditional kiln-fired ceramics.
